Community Organization and Local Businesses Hold Food Drive |

Cambria Suites Madison (Eastside) in partnership with Sun Prairie Rotary Club, HyVee and Target sponsored a food drive on behalf of the Sun Prairie Emergency Food Pantry on Saturday, January 23.
The focus of this food drive was to help re-stock shelves at the Pantry at a time of the year when donations tend to decline. Yet the needs of many people in our community to utilize the Pantry remain great. Their efforts brought in 570 pounds of food for the Pantry. |

Christmas Benefit Concert |
On Friday night , December 3rd, Our Savior's Lutheran Church was host to the Sun Prairie Emergency Food Pantry Christmas Concert. Choirs from Sacred Hearts, Bristol Lutheran, Good Shepherd, United Methodist, St. Albert's, Bethlehem Lutheran and Our Saviors Lutheran Church provided just over 90 minutes of beautiful Christmas music to a packed house. Light refreshments of holiday treats followed the festive occasion.
Including a $5000.00 donation from the Alliant Energy Foundation, over $10,500 was donated to the Food Pantry in a single night. This was in addition to food donations dropped off as well. It was phenomenal evening filled with the spirit of giving. Many in need will benefit from the results.
A special thank you to Our Savior's Lutheran Church for once again hosting the event. Also, our sincerest appreciation goes out to the church choirs for sharing their remarkable talent and to the generous audience for making this event such a success.
