Sun Prairie Mobile Food Pantry - NEW SERVICE

In August 2003, Second Harvest rolled out the Mobile Pantry Program. In partnership with a member agency, food from the Second Harvest warehouse is trucked to a neighborhood site at a prescheduled time for immediate distribution to residents. The program provides additional food to those in need and gives Second Harvest a valuable channel to increase distribution of perishable food items to ensure that good food will not go to waste.

Mobile Food Pantry Schedule

The next Mobile Pantry pick up date is August 26 (Tuesday) from 5 PM to 6 PM. at the Sunshine Place location -- 18 Rickel Road in Sun Prairie.

As a reminder, here are key points relating to the Mobile Food Pantry:

  • You should bring identification and proof of residency indicating you live in the Sun Prairie School District.
    • Proof of residency may include a driver's license, a state ID card, current utility bill or current lease.
  • The type of food provided is based on what is available at Second Harvest at the time of the Mobile Food Pantry.

  • Food received from the Sun Prairie Mobile Food Pantry does NOT affect your ability to receive food through the Pantry once every 30 days.
